Chef Tuesday's: If a baked potatoe and a potatoe chip had a baby....

We eat a lot of potatoes around our house, so I've been experiment with different ways to make things a little more healthy. I came up with this recipe a while ago, and it's the perfect side dish because they taste amazing, aren't extremely bad for you, and are super easy to whip up. We ate ours with turkey burgers, and they definintly hit the spot!!

What you'll need:

  • 3 small potatoes (my favorite is gold, but any work!)
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • salt, pepper, oregano, cinnamon, blackened seasoning, perfect pinch
  • Garlic (diced), to taste

  • What you'll do:

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Slice potatoes as thin as you possibly can... the thinner, the better!
  • Lightly grease a baking pan and spread potatoes evenly
  • Add spices to taste - you need just a small pinch of cinnamon (about 1 tsp)
  • Add garlic to taste
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes (shorter = softer, longer = crispier)
