About Me

Hello and welcome to my tiny little space on the internet! I'm a twenty-something homebody who is inspired by nature and always creating... be it through my writing, refinishing old furniture, or simply dreaming up new ways to recycle old materials into home goods.

I currently live in Richmond, Virginia with my handsome, motorcycle riding boyfriend and we spend most of our free time camping and staying active. We love to eat sushi and explore the city with our two dogs: Pete and Kanga.

My favorite hobbies include reading (my favorite books are God Shaped Hole, The End of The Affair, The Great Gatsby, and Catcher in the Rye), whipping up delicious food in the kitchen, and laughing with my girlfriends over a glass of wine.

This blog is an online diary of my life, and I'm so happy that you stopped by! Feel free to look around, comment if you feel like it, and email me if you want to know more.

My beliefs about life summed up in one awesome quote:

I no longer expect things to make sense. I know there is no safety. But that does not mean there is no magic. It does not mean there is no hope. It simply means that each of us has reason to be wishful and frightened, aspiring and flawed. And it means that to the degree we are lost, is it on the same Ocean, in the same night.
